System assumptions
- Cloud analytics
- Recommendations support optimization. Local control continues when this service is unavailable.
- Remote identity
- Revoking this remote session removes remote access. The controller continues its existing local program.
- Power supply
- Loss of power directly affects the pump. Continuity depends on the installation’s backup arrangements.
Configuration changes require approval. The diagram does not establish which changes an identity can authorize, whether permissions are exploitable, or whether approval can be bypassed. Examine access highlights relationships to investigate, not a confirmed attack path.
Gold follows the selected component’s downstream relationships. This does not mean every downstream component stops if the selected component is unavailable. No timing, flow, pressure, failover capacity, or outage duration is calculated.
Text equivalent
- Remote identity → Engineering workstation: Authorizes a remote session.
- Cloud analytics → Engineering workstation: Supplies recommendations.
- Engineering workstation → Controller: Sends approved configuration changes.
- Pressure sensor → Controller: Reports pressure.
- Controller → Pump: Sets speed.
- Power supply → Pump: Supplies electrical power.
- Pump → Water supply: Maintains flow.
Remote identity and Cloud analytics are grouped as remote services. The remaining six components belong to local operations. The pressure sensor measures the supplied system’s pressure; no additional feedback connection is drawn.
